Be prepared to wait after your reservation. Don't go more than a few minutes before your reservation. TOP TIPS: Go only if you love Beauty & the Beast. I would say this all takes place in a span less than a minute. He walks through the ballroom, takes a quick bow in the West Wing and leaves. I had my phone at the ready when I heard the music to announce the Beast and I still couldn't click fast enough to get a picture.this happened twice during the meal. The Beast, wait, where was he? I thought it wasn't as bad as everyone said about the Beast's walk-through, but it really is that bad. I'm not sure how people tasted cookies and cream because it didn't taste much of anything, let alone cookies and cream. It was dry and the the frosting on top tasted of nothing more than vegetable shortening and sugar. THE GREY STUFF WAS TERRIBLE! I could not wait to try it, but it was such a disappointment. It was a small portion and didn't have a lot of flavor. The sauteed shrimp and scallops no longer comes in the puff pastry bowl, but in a small crock with a wedge of puff pastry on the side.

The grilled strip steak was full of grizzle, thin and not flavorful. The night before we went to dinner somewhere else and I didn't get the mussels because I read how the mussels here were so good, unfortunately it was not the case and I was sorry I skipped them the night before. We also tried the Mussels Provencal and it had a strange off flavor that was unappetizing. We had the french onion soup to start, which was bland except for the cheese on top. It really ruins the ambiance and certainly doesn't feel like having dinner at a nice restaurant. Between the voices of the other guests and the rattling of the dessert cart wheels it's hard to hear the person across the table from you. We were seated in the West Wing and I was thinking it might be quieter, but it wasn't. I've read a lot of reviews about the noise level and I thought people were exaggerating or it was only at lunch that it was so noisy, but I was wrong! When we first walked through the ballroom the sound was deafening. It might not seem like a lot, but there is no where to sit and after being at a theme park all day you anticipate when you go to eat you can sit down, finally. We arrived 15 minutes early because some had recommended getting there early, but this meant standing on the bridge for 40 minutes (25 minutes past our reservation) before we were seated. THE BAD: -Standing (no seating) and waiting 25 minutes past our reservation time. They did an amazing job including details from the story. THE GOOD: -The outside and inside are visually stunning. Truly if they had walking tours of the restaurant it would probably be a more pleasant experience. You probably will still be disappointed, but at least you got to experience the restaurant. If I had to make a recommendation to a friend about eating here I would say only go if you are a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast, go at lunch, and order soup or something reasonably priced. Unfortunately it was the biggest disappointment of our trip. I was very excited to get a reservation for dinner while we were at Disney World.
